The Benefit of Blueberries

Blueberries

Blueberries are small (but mighty) fruit contains more health benefits than I can fit on this page. The list goes on forever, but I’ll go ahead and point out a few!

They contain fiber. Did you know there after about 20 seeds in each blueberry? This, as well as the skin, is where the fiber hangs. This keeps us feeling Fuller for longer periods of time. Great for weight control.

This magical fruit has tons of antioxidants. Aka, they have healing and preventive properties! Research shows consumption can slow down the progression of some diseases (ex. Cancer, diabetes and heart disease). They are known to help keep our memory afloat, brain power.

Blueberries have lots of nutrients, especially vitamin C and potassium. Doesn’t everyone want a healthy immune system? Both support healthy bones. Specifically, vitamin C has healing properties for colds and wounds. Potassium helps in fluid balance and muscle contraction (aka can moderates blood pressure).

Below is an easy recipe to incorporate blueberries into your daily routine!
